Terms of Use

Networking:

In the world of computers, networking is the practice of linking two or more computing devices together for the purpose of sharing data.

Network Security:

A specialized field in computer networking that involves securing a computer network infrastructure.

Cloud Computing:

Cloud computing is a type of computing that relies on sharing computing resources rather than having local servers or personal devices to handle applications.

Grid Computing:

Grid computing is the collection of computer resources from multiple locations to reach a common goal.

Data Mining:

Data mining is a powerful new technology with great potential to help companies focus on the most important information in the data they have collected about the behavior of their customers and potential customers.

Software Engineering:

Software engineering (SE) is the application of a systematic, disciplined, quantifiable approach to the design, development, operation, and maintenance of software, and the study of these approaches.

Image Processing:

Image processing is any form of signal processing for which the input is an image.

Multimedia:

Multimedia refers to content that uses a combination of different content forms. Multimedia includes a combination of text, audio, still images, animation, video, or interactivity content forms.

Mobile Computing:

Mobile computing is human–computer interaction by which a computer is expected to be transported during normal usage. Mobile computing involves mobile communication, mobile hardware.

Robotics:

A robot is a mechanical intelligent agent which can perform tasks on its own, or with guidance. In practice a robot is usually an electro-mechanical machine which is guided by computer and electronic programming. Robots can be autonomous or semi-autonomous.

GSM & GPS:

GSM is a digital mobile communication network which develops rapidly in recent years. Short Message Service of GSM is a value-added service based on data packet switching provided by mobile communication company using GSM network besides of all sorts of telecommunication services and bearer services based on the circuit-switched.

Wireless:

Wireless telecommunications, is the transfer of information between two or more points that are physically not connected. Distances can be short, as a few meters as in television remote control; or long ranging from thousands to millions of kilometers for deep-space radio communications.

Automation:

Automation is the use of control systems and information technologies to reduce the need for human work in the production of goods and services. In the scope of industrialization, automation is a step beyond mechanization.

Electrical:

Electrical engineering is a field of engineering that generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. This field first became an identifiable occupation in the latter half of the 19th century after commercialization of the electric telegraph, the telephone, and electric power distribution and use.

Power Electronics:

Power Electronics is a field which combines Power (electric power), Electronics and Control systems. Power engineering deals with the static and rotating power equipment for the generation, transmission and distribution of electric power.

PLC:

A Programmable Logic Controller, PLC or Programmable Controller is a digital computer used for automation of electromechanical processes, such as control of machinery on factory assembly lines, amusement rides, or light fixtures. PLCs are used in many industries and machines.

Biomedical:

Biomedical engineering has only recently emerged as its own discipline, compared to many other engineering fields. Such an evolution is common as a new field transitions from being an interdisciplinary specialization among already-established fields, to being considered a field in itself.
